Gochar means the movement of the planets. Nothing in the universe is static. Janam Kundli/ horoscope is the map of the sky at the time of birth, visible from her/his birthplace. The position of the planets does not always remain the same because all the planets keep on moving continuously. When a planet changes its place, at that time along with its position, the effect of its rays also changes. So their effects also change. These effects are called transition. The effect of planets on the person remains for life. Which event, when, and how will happen in the life of the person can be known through astrology. Transit among them is also a method to predict events. In Indian astrology, the transition of the planets and their effect is calculated from birth because the moon is mann ( virtual brain where thoughts are produced). All the work of a person is governed by the mann and the mann himself is the operator of all the senses another reason is that the Moon is closest to the Earth. In astrology, both Lagna and Moon are considered.
The transit Veda should also be kept in mind while calculating the results from the transit. Whenever a planet is placed at the auspicious place from the moon, then there are some places where if any other planets are present then the native will not get auspicious results, it is called Vedh or perforation. there is an exception in the rules for Vedh and that is the Sun & Saturn and the moon and mercury, which don't have Vedh mutually, but They have Vedh from other planets. Here is a point to be noted that Sun cannot be perforated by Mercury and Venus because Mercury and Venus are never more than 28 degrees and 48 degrees away from the Sun respectively. In that way, only the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Rahu, and Ketu can Vedh the Sun.
Now let's see how to check the transition of planets. The results of the transit of all the planets including the Moon from the Moon sign at the time of birth to different places will be as follows.
From the Moon sign the auspicious and Vedh or places: --
For Sun the auspicious places are 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th and 4th, 5th, 9th, and 12th
are Vedh place
For Moon the auspicious places are 1st, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, and 11th and 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th and 12 are Vedh place.
For Mars, the auspicious places are 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 11th and 5th, 9th, and 12th are Vedh place.
For Mercury the auspicious places are 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 11th and 1st, 3rd, 5th, 9th, and 12th are Vedh place.
For Jupiter the auspicious places are 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 11th and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, and 10th are Vedh place.
For Venus the auspicious places are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th and 6th, 7th and 10th are Vedh place. As for the 7th house personally, I don't agree because it is Venus's own house.
For Saturn, the auspicious places are 3rd, 6th, and 11th, and 5th, 9th, and 12th are Vedh places.
For Rahu, the auspicious places are 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 11th and 5th, 9th, and 12th are Vedh place.
For Ketu, the auspicious places are 3rd, 6th, 10th, and 11th and 5th, 9th, and 12th are Vedh place.
Now let's take an example of Pisces ascendent, where the Moon was in the Aries sign at the time of birth, so the Moon sign is Aries. The recent major planetary transition took place. On the 10th of may 22 we see that the planet Saturn is at the 11th position that is Aquarius from the birth Moon, here it will give good results to this person but at the same time at the Vedh places from Moon(5th, 9th, and 12th)planets are placed in 5th and 12th house, hence Saturn will give moderate result because Aquarius is Saturn's own house and mool trikon Rashi, and making a connection with Jupiter and Venus in the 12th house, and both are friends with Saturn, only the moon in the 5th place or house can give problems.
