There is 12 house in the birth chart or horoscope. The first house is called the Ascendant. The zodiac which is rising on the horizon at the time of birth of a person is taken as Ascendant in simple words, if the whole sky is taken as 360 degrees and is divided into 12 parts, then a sum of 30 degrees comes out. Any of these 12 zodiac signs are situated in the east direction at the time of the child's birth and is taken as Lagna/ascendant. A Lagna/Ascendant lasts 2 hours. There are 12 Lagna or ascendants in astrology. Every Ascendant has certain characteristics. Whatever zodiac signs and planets are sitting in the Ascendant or whatever planets are looking at the Ascendant, their effect is seen in the personality of the person.

Few yogas for this Ascendant
1. Being the lord of the 9th and 10th houses Jupiter and Saturn don't create Rajyoga for this ascendant.
2. Venus in the 12th house is benefic. If Venus and Mars are in conjunction, then both karaka and marak results are obtained.
3. If Jupiter, Mars, and Venus conjunct in the 2nd house, it creates Rajyoga, but if this combination falls in the 3rd house then it will not give auspicious results.
4. Mars and Jupiter's conjunction in the 4th house gives yoga karaka results.
5. Mars is the 5th house that gives auspicious results during its dasha period. Mars with Mercury in the 6th house give injuries, and skin problems in their Dasha and Anterdasha period.

3. If there is a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus in the 4th house in the horoscope of a person with Virgo ascendant, then auspicious results are obtained in the dasha of both of them. The reason for this is that Venus is the ruler of the trikon/triangle and Jupiter is the lord of the 4th house, and sitting in the own the 4th house when giving aspect to the 10th house, and when two natural benefic planets aspect of on the karmic house, a good yoga will be formed. Though it is Lord of the expenditure house being auspicious and Lord of the 9th house, it is not inauspicious for this ascendant. According to rishi Prasher It is yogakarak for Libra descendants. Mars is Marak for this ascendant because it is lord of the 2nd and 7th houses.
